The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) announces the call to eternal glory of her 3rd President, HIS EMINENCE, DR. SUNDAY COFFIE MBANG, CON who went to be with the Lord in the early hours of yesterday, Tuesday 16th May, 2023 after a brief illness at the age of 85.
He is also an Emeritus Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, and a former President of the World Methodist Council amongst other position of selfless service. His service to God and humanity was indeed full of great impact. We still bear testimony of how his devotion, leadership and dedication to the things of God has blessed so many lives.
The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) sends heartfelt condolence to his family, the Methodist Church Nigeria and Christians in Nigeria for this great loss.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
